Hey guys, I’ve just purchased this lens for a good price. To make the long story short, it has some bubbles on the back element. I don’t have now the possibility to shoot on a digital camera but I will wait the results of my films soon. 
do you know what those bubbles are?

I think that I will send this lens to a repair center ASAP.

Bubbles in a front element are not much of a problem, a rear element more so - and it will impact resale value severely.

The bubbles are probably why you got "a good price."

What happens next depends. Are they actually air-bubbles in the glass - or are they droplets of something (water, lubricant) on the inner surface of the glass?

In the second case, a technical cleaning may be all that's needed to solve the problem. Not really cheap, but certainly less expensive than replacing a whole element.

Although droplets may be a sign of a worse problem - i.e. the lens either got immersed in water at some point, or was exposed to high heat (e.g. car interior in summer) that liquified the grease enough to dribble on the glass.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I think they are grease droplets. I will see if a CLA could fix this.
