Popular Post fotografr Posted March 28, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) My wife, Nora, was caught unaware that I was taking her photo. This was from the early 1970s when she was just 20 and we'd been married for a very short time. We are about to celebrate our 48th anniversary. Welcome, dear visitor! Louis Posted March 29, 2021 Share #7 Posted March 29, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) She is very pretty. The only difference I see from the first shot is the length of the hair. 1
stuny Posted March 29, 2021 Share #8 Posted March 29, 2021 Far more than grown up a bit. She fits an observation I've had for decades: Women often achieve their greatest beauty well after high school or college. In Nora's case the image suggests more than beauty: It conveys warmth and kindness. 4

Thanks, Louis. I sulked for about a week when she cut her hair many years ago but now I like the way it looks. At one time it was down to her waist. traderjoe Posted April 4, 2021 Share #13 Posted April 4, 2021 I was so taken with the first photograph and kept returning to as it took me back to a certain time. Upon my latest visit just now, I finally scrolled down and found the second, finding it equally memorable and sweet. Thank you for sharing with us. Now Brent, the big question is have "you" aged as well as Nora has.....I know in my house my wife Christy still looks like she's in her 40's whereas I certainly look my age. How is it that this seems to be the norm. Lovely photographs Brent, thank you for sharing them with us. I guess you'd have to ask Nora but in my opinion she looks at least seven years younger than me (because she actually is 😁).
Herr Barnack Posted April 11, 2021 Share #18 Posted April 11, 2021 (edited) @fotografr 48 years, 1 marriage - that's no mean feat in today's world! You and Nora should be conducting matrimony longevity workshops! Congratulations. And both photographs of Nora are wonderful! Thank you, although I wouldn't conduct any workshops based on our history. We met, started living together after one week and got married just five months later. Our parents on both sides thought we were crazy, but neither of us have ever had any desire to be with anyone else. Henry Taylor Posted April 13, 2021 Share #20 Posted April 13, 2021 Your a lucky man Brent, the years have been good to her.. You can see her warmth and kindness in her smile. which most likely reflects the love and support she gets from her husban and family.
