Glad you liked it when are you going to  pick one up?

By the way Brent, take a look at "First Light" and also "Moon shore and cargo boats"

This lens is nifty it actually is 2 lenses in one. When you shoot wide open and when you close down to  f2  you get a creamier background look.

Heh, heh. I've had one since they were first introduced. I got mine before Leica had a "chat" with them about using their patented code, so mine is actually one of the few coded versions. 😁

Yours seems to be sharper wide open than mine so maybe I need to get my little adjustment tool out and see if I can improve it.

Good idea Let me know how it works out.   Oh by  the way when using this lens on my SL it doesn't focus at infinity so  I just placed an order with B&H for the 7 artisans mount for lens to L mount  which  they say will  work properly.  After you mentioned about the  coded versions I check mine out and it also  has the code . Decided to  try  it out on the M9  here is a shot of Jack taken just a few minutes ago  on the M9
