strangeboy Posted March 26, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 26, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Just took delivery of a sliver M240 from a pretty reputable seller on ebay. The camera has practically no markings on it anywhere except for (see pic). I've reached out to the seller, and I'll hear back soon. In the meantime, has anyone ever seen this? Thanx! boojum Posted March 27, 2021 Share #6 Posted March 27, 2021 (edited) A cotton swab moistened with rubbing alcohol might work, too. It is surprising the seller let this out of his shop without a thorough cleaning. Edited March 27, 2021 by boojum

But, it set my OCD on fire... so now I'm drinking whiskey 🙄. jdlaing nailed it. Cleaning it now. Thanx!
a.noctilux Posted March 27, 2021 Share #8 Posted March 27, 2021 If you use EVF2 one day, you may have some trouble, as I think the contacts may be as dirty as I see here the cap is not where it should. Seeing/cleaning some dirt outside is not so bad but inside the connectors can be hard to clean.
Casey Jefferson Posted March 27, 2021 Share #9 Posted March 27, 2021 Same on mine, didn't bother cleaning it as it already acquire light marks all over the body - I would be over the top with the OCD had it been mint. I no longer buy mint condition camera gears 😂
