Before decent zooms, this was furnished with cameras. A 50 was permanently attached to my first camera. Others were wanted and over the years dozens of cameras were purchased with interchangeable lenses. 60 years later, I use my 50`s most. Yes plural. If you are wealthy and want the best, M10 + 50 2.0 APO. This will set you back less than $20,000. 35 and 90 will fill out the set. As you obviously inexperienced, do not buy an expensive Leica for a first camera just as you would not buy a $100,000 fast sports car as a first car. And if I had to decide between one superduper apo lens or 2 very good non apo lenses, I would go the second. For example rather 28/2.8 and 50/2.5 instead of 35 apo. like others said, only you know what you like to shoot and which focal length works best for that. By the way, 35 is most comfortable for the viewfinder IMO, 50 works fine as well, 28 is ok (a little harder if you wear glasses). Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
