Here are our three latest arrivals, who joined the farm today. They came from a very large litter in quite a confined space so fragrant they are not. After their trip to us of around 15 miles, they may also have "nervous tummies". Taken with M10-R and 50mm Summilux III SE.

It is actually the warmest day of the year so far in the south of the UK at around 14/15ºC. We have put them in one of our horse stables to get acclimatised to being away from mum, before they go out to their field, where they have a shelter. They also have a large pond in the field, which when it gets to summertime, previous pigs have spent most of their time lying in the shallows. I am going to have to print a new notice asking people on the footpath running past their field, not to feed them.

Interesting information about your pigs. It sounds like you take good care of them.

We have had to move them into our garage as my daughter's horse was objecting strongly to the presence of the piglets next door and trying her best to demolish her stable.
