The bookcase in the Anne Frank house which was placed over the opening to the stairwell so as to hide  the upper level where the Franks lived in silence for 2 years before being arrested.  (The museum does not allow photos, but I had missed the sign prohibiting it).

The many small canals in Holland have the typical water flowers, dotters, which unfortunately were not flowering yesterday.
