Beautiful - what gear were you using?

The gear question....

Cam: SL-II with 16-35 (In addition 90mm Summicron M 2.0 and Apo Telyt 180 R),   most of the pics with the sun i have used my polarizer (-> H&Y K series magnetic system, interesting system as they have a frame system where i can use my existing filters too)...

Tripod: Gitzo 3542L with Feisol ballhead CB40 ,

Backback:  Evoc  CP26L

special clothing in first use:  ( as it was the start of my next 50 years of living and i am getting older ...) in german "Grödel", traction cleats and they were important...

A fantastic set, stunning.

Thank you for sharing.

To have that almost on your doorstep is quite special, but as seen by the lack of footprints, you are the only one (two) who took the opportunity and were rewarded for doing so.

The depth of the snow on the branches against the sky make the set for me.
