Universal Wide Angle Frankenfinder is loose, fixable?

Hi

I just received a used frankenfinder from KEH. I mounted it up to my camera today and even with the locking wheel tightened the finder is loose, not in the hot shoe, but it swivels from side to side a bit on the post that goes through the locking wheel. I assume this is not how it's supposed to be, it kinda flops around a bit if I move the camera. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix it or will I just have to send it back to KEH and ask for a refund?

That doesn’t sound normal. Mine locks well with no movement. If after a close inspection it can’t be corrected I’d ask for a replacement or refund.
