tonyNZ Posted January 19, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi there Just bought the SL2s and have been trying to import the images to my Mac direct from the camera. Im using the latest Big Sur MacOS and connecting via a USB-C cable. I can see the images in Photos, Image Capture and Lightroom but none of these will allow for importing the images. It might be that Leica needs to update something on their end, and I read similar problems being experienced by Canon users and Big Sur, until Canon released an update. Can anyone offer any light on this please?

Can anyone offer any light on this please? Have you tried using an SD card reader? Can you copy the images manually to a temporary directory on the Mac and then import it from there? tonyNZ Posted January 19, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted January 19, 2021 I am reluctant to buy another gadget before I try this method. It might be terribly slow in which case I will get one, but in the meantime it should work.
Daniel C.1975 Posted January 19, 2021 Share #4 Posted January 19, 2021 Have you chosen ‚USB-Storage‘ on the camera after connecting it to the Mac? I had the same problem, which was solved after this adjustment.

Can anyone offer any light on this please? you can see the camera in Apple photos ? did you choose the destination and click import or is it not showing the import button ? if the camera is in power saving mode that might also cause an issue with transfers ? does the SL2-S have an option in the menu for what to do when connected by USB ? The other option is PTP storage which I think will allow for tethering but at this stage clearly not to import files! @ Frame-It - yes I can see it in apple photos and I can click import, but nothing happens...just the same as experienced in Lightroom.
