Leica in Suzhou and Zeiss in Ningbo And they build really wonderful 24 - 240 zooms for Sony. Not to mention the new 7Artisans and TTArtisans lenses for Leica at insane prices. Country of origin is no longer any guarantee of quality as has been witnessed here again and again.
Advertisement Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Hi boojum, Take a look here Vertical lines?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
BrianS Posted January 31, 2021 Share #62 Posted January 31, 2021 Easier to fix on the M Monochrom in software, but the same issue. The pixel is usually not "Dead", just non-uniform. "The Bad Pixel" introduces an offset in the pixels being shifted through it for output. If my M9 or M8 ever develops a similar problem, I'll just add a new interpolation scheme to "MONOFIX1" and make it "COLORFIX1".
