Not sure if this has been posted before but I think it is closer to a D3.

Hi Louis,

great job - I will buy this camera - where can I get it? ;)

Which program did you use for creating?

This saturday I had a long conversation with my dealer, that Leica should rebrand the new L1 (would look exactly like yours). But everybody is really excited for the upcoming M8, he visited the Leica training for it already. But price wise and hopefully quality its another league ....

FYI the L1 viewfinder would be 'unworthy' (too small and dim) and its image quality 'not really better' than that of the Oly E-330 due 'probably' to its anti-aliasing filter according to the French mag Réponses Photo (# 174, Sept. 2006).

They like much the lens per se though...

I wish i have this photoshop skill !!

The image is taken from a website in Hong Kong... probably by someone who's too eager to see the Leica version.

The grip wasn't done correctly though (there should be none).

Last week there was a booth in HK for people to try the L1 (and other panny products).

I tried it on two separate days and my eyes told me they weren't comfortable looking through that VF.

Couldn't test the IQ becoz the staff didn't allow me to put my own SD card in.

I think the front of the camera is a beaut. The back is less inspiring to me becoz I think there are too many buttons.
