In practice there is not much in it with stills, but with a manual lens battery life should be pretty good. The SCL6 battery is less expensive than the SCL4 one. The battery you have must be a bit degraded. It may recover somewhat with use.

Oops I forgot to mention the camera was pre-owned. And when I got it, there was still firmware 4.0 on it. So I guess the camera hasn't been used for some time.

Quite possible. If you want to discuss this further we’ll have to move out of here as this is an image thread.

Couple of shot from today. All made with the Light Lens Lab 50/2 Rigid, that arrived yesterday 😀

The first image (Lego set) is SOOC, shot at F2 close to minimum focus distance. The other images had very limited corrections.

Incognito - SL2S with Summilux M 50 pre asph V4. I am beginning to like the SL2S more than the SL3S. The jury is out for the moment but this image did require some rescuing.

Ken, would explain why?

Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil

I am talking aloud here Phil but the machinations of my assessment is culminating from a sensing to something more tangible. It's about the files and how they are forgiving with my impressions in photoshop, Nothing else! I feel that I will have an answer for you soon.
