Currently I'm using a RRS BQDS mounted directly on the lens. (This was a tip from the forum) It saves some space in the photo bag and is very handy.

I'm going the traditional way using RRS L85, works fine

you can also use Kirk's KLP-360-2NL, very well made.  About the same size as RRS's L85.  The Kirk's KLP-360-2NL comes with two screws, see picture attached.

This is what I do as well. Also gives me a QD mount for a strap.

I'd personally recommend the IShoot QS 80.  Inexpensive, well made, secure, does the job.  What's not to like?
