Me too, so much so I couldn't resist buying the  SL 50 APO too and a third SL2 battery of course 😀 just incase I want to do some more burst photography with the SL2. I really, really like this kit. These fotos you posted are great--wish I was there!

I am happy to have best of both worlds. SL and the 16-35 and 24-90 are also wonderful to use. Amazing image quality and covering a wide range. Being a long term Leica fan, my M system also taught me a lot about photography which allows me to appreciate SL lenses even more.

Love the leading lines in this image juxtaposed with the other patterns arriving together to greet the sky blue. Very nicely done! I agree, in my case the M10 has taught me a lot about photography too. While I am enjoying learning the SL2 very much, my M10-R and M lenses go nowhere! My M kit will be my "light" kit as in Summilux lenses and the SL2 kit will be my APO kit. The M-L adapter might be the best adapter I've ever used for true and smart integration. The adapter design is so sleek, one hardly notices on the SL2 and the M lenses look like they just belong.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the SL 35/APO not being as large as I had expected, really right there with other mirrorless 35s. I read I can expect the same with the SL 50 APO. Now that I'm done with testing the SL 35 APO, time to get to work and create a few 35 APO images to post one this thread!

Thank you. Very interesting. Bad af On the SL line is the reason why I only use my SL with M lenses. Videos and stills.

what about the SOOC “colour science” of both kits ? Drifting a way a bit, but which has the best colors?

I did not address your colour question directly because I feel whenever someone asks me "how do I like the colours" from a certain digital camera is much the same as  asking "how do you like the weather." I don't know how to answer. It's rare that I find a color, tone, WB, or even skin tone in digital photography that I can't change to whatever I feel it should be. Although I admit I've had technical issues correcting white dresses and the same with Glaciers with any digital camera I've ever used. I am not color blind and from what I can tell can determine  various gradients of colors and hues.

Equally as important IMO to the colour question is the color cast introduced by the lens itself which can vary greatly. But also adds complexity how to answer the "how do you like colours"

Thanks for the kind words and it was a perfect opportunity to take this shot in the morning when the area was still very quiet.

This is the new commercial area in the centre of Doha, outside the new Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Amazing place for photography, lots of museums and mosques, desert and shopping malls.

I have also used my SL and SL2 with M lenses. I don't mind not having the autofocus function as I find it easier to point and shoot. When I pair it with the SL handgrip and using the tiny M28 Summaron, the look can be "un Leica" 😆

I’ll keep adding occasionally to the SL3-S image thread.

great! But I wish we had a dedicated 35 sl apo thread too :)

I love the lens but find that I miss some pop in most of the images. can´t put my finger on it, guess it´s subjective
