Fernando, Conrad, and Stuart,

Thank you one and all for your kind words. And thanks for looking. I feel silly, but here are the same photos again much larger per your requests.

Again, as these are resizes of already sharpened JPEGS (which were themselves prepared hastily for other purposes), they undoubtedly contain undesireable artifacts. But I think they get the moods across. I appreciate your indulgence.

Wolfgang,

I've been puzzling over the meaning of "tendencyful." Bitte, wie sagt man "tendencyful" auf Deutsch? Und vielen Dank für ihre Wörter.

Mitchell,

Thanks. I know where you are coming from. I love landscape, but tire of the picturesque and the post card/calendar type shot. (Still some landscape seems to give one little choice. Glacier NP was frustrating in this regard. Too grandious. Or at least I didn't have enough time there to really get off the beaten path.) I was trained as a painter. Photography is but an avocation, but one which I thoroughly love (read: "amateur").

Thanks to all again for considering these images worth re-posting.

(the other) Brent

The images are in the following order:

1) Glacier National Park, Montana

2) Glacier National Park, Montana

3) Mountain Mahogany, LaMoile (sp?) Canyon, Nevada

4) Beaver lodge, damn and pond, LaMoile Canyon, Nevada

5) Colorado National Monument, near Fruita, Colorado
