Walking through Sugret on an overcast and humid morning.  I thought the skies favoured the Monochrom Reporter.  Here are three of the village folk I spoke with on my journey.

I hope these little guys put the same smile on your face that was on mine while taking their portraits.

I have included a link to my Monochrom Gallery on my Leica travel photography site.   https://www.walkacrossitall.com/gallery-1-2

All the best!

Mark

This mile and a half walk, starting from Lambeth's southern boundary at Central Hill, moving north along the course of the vanished River Effra downstream to West Norwood Cemetery. Along the route of Lambeth's largest watercourse, it took in the surviving landscape and streetscape clues to its presence and observe the influence the river and its periodic floods had on the development of West Norwood, both before and after its disappearance underground into a sewer in the 1860s. Jon Newman, who leads the walk, is a writer and archivist who has specialised in researching South London's underground rivers and is the author of River Effra, South London's Secret Spine.

Some nice photos there of nondescript South London. Thank you.
