I recently purchased the Q2M to see if it would replace the M246. I have recently been to Venice and had a ball with the camera! It may only be a 28mm lens but the camera is superb and I didn't miss the M246 at all.

Selfie in the Mirror

Mirror the image. Makes it more fun since it would not be a typical selfie.

Nice shot by the way!

As opposed to naughty front focussing M11-P with 50mm ASPH FLE here is the well tempered Q2M

After purchasing a beautiful used Leica Q a few years ago, I decided that the Leica Q2M was something I would like and found a very nice well-loved used one and this is my first few takes ... I really love it and I know nothing is perfect but it seems the Q's are perfect for me. I like the experience and the results I've gotten with Leica (wished I had taken the plunge years ago.. ugh) ... please enjoy and criticism is accepted. Thank you for letting me share !!

Leica Q2M f/1.7. iso 400 1/5000

Another shot from my first time out with the Q2 ... very small area of sharpness , probably due to hand holding the camera (my lack of commitment to a tripod still baffles me) ... but I found after reviewing my photos , under exposing by a stop really emphasizes the darks and lights .... please feel free with any suggestions and enjoy the experience. Thank you for letting me share.

Don’t be scared of smaller apertures and high ISOs with the Q2M if you want more depth of field - I have let mine go to 50,000 ISO to get a shot and the noise didn’t offend 🙂

It doesn’t really look like film grain, but it also doesn’t look the noise you typically get from a camera with a Bayer filter (colour)

Misty and freezing rain … in LR I cooled it a little to add to the eeriness …
