Guest Posted August 13, 2021 Share #4 Posted August 13, 2021 Might be a good idea to get more of their current line up in store before they bring out anything new.
jplomley Posted August 14, 2021 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2021 (edited) 28 mm APO Summicron would be an absolute winner without a doubt. The 24 Lux was retired. They should retire the 21 Lux as well and introduce a 21 and 24 APO Summicron of much smaller dimension and improved optical performance (presumably). Capuccino-Muffin Posted August 14, 2021 Share #6 Posted August 14, 2021 Yes, 35mm noctilux is the logical step.

While I can appreciate an APO lineup like that, the cost would be staggering to have an all-APO kit. I think most of use will have to pick one or two at best. I think if I could only have one, it would be 28 APO with close focus like the 35.
skueh Posted August 16, 2021 Share #9 Posted August 16, 2021 How about a replacement for the 1998 Apo-Summicron-M 90mm f2 Asph?
