danishphoto Posted November 6, 2020 Share #1 Posted November 6, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a new Leica user. I use Leica Md from 1966 and Leica Mda from 1971. Lenses Jupiter 35/2,8 and Jupiter 50/2,0. I have just bought a T-Max 400 film and I am excited to see the result. My first film since 2003. I earlier used film and darkroom from 1974. Does anyone in the group have some of these sceintific cameras? Welcome, dear visitor! Matlock Posted November 7, 2020 Share #3 Posted November 7, 2020 I don't possess a MD however I do use it's predecessor the Ig which I often use with a Summaron 28/5.6 plus viewfinder.
wlaidlaw Posted November 7, 2020 Share #4 Posted November 7, 2020 I too use a Ig but with a Voigtlander 21mm and CV viewfinder. At f4, you can just leave the lens at the Hyperfocal distance of 3.5M and not focus it all all. Wilson

I have a MD, MDa and MD2 and I use them mostly with Visoflex II or III, for macro photography or with longer lenses. And sometimes with an Elmarit-M 2.8/21mm. gargoyle_mda Posted March 4 Share #6 Posted March 4 I know this is a wee bit late but I just acquired my MDa. I got mine out of Japan and it came with the custom grip. I'm using the Voightlander Zoom viewfinder which is nice because I don't have to change out the viewfinder every time I change lenses. Welcome, dear visitor!
