Well, yellow paint was not going to last.  And this monumentalizing has apparently been underway for about two months and is scheduled to take a month more.  While I was there, several people expressed surprise,. as they hadn't known it would be made permanent this way.  I expect the streets will reopen.  The cross streets already are.  Here's the church which was cleared for a photo op, making Lafayette Park and its surrounds a cause celebre.

And here's what 40 MPx are good for -- capturing a gathering of family and friends to remember and celebrate the life of a long term friend of mine (since eighth grade) who passed away last year.

It was held 9 floors above BLM plaza.

M10-R colours.  Since making the shift from M10 to M10-R I'm noticing subtle but valuable differences in the rendering of colours.  The shot here is an example from a local walk.  I wonder if others are noticing the difference.
