I'm consolidating the number of lenses I have. I'm still in the newbie-learn curve stage, and I need to try and see more lenses. Meanwhile, I'm super happy with my 2.8/35 Biogon C and the 50 Summicron v5 ... I sold my TT artisan 35/1.4. I liked and still love the lens. But after three years using a few lenses, w/ or w/o focus tab, big or small, etc. I found my sweet spot in the 35mm FL, but small and light lenses. This is for me the Leica essence is, well, at least for me.

The TT is a great lens; I believe it has a cinematographic character wide open. And when the flare is not an issue, I think it has nothing to envy to a Lux pre asph or similar—the guy I made a deal with offered me a Color-skopar P II in exchange for the TT. But I choose the money. 🙂

Being this my thread, I thought you needed to know. I sold it for being 405gr and for not being so small, that's it. Optically, I didn't like the flare in a situation of bright light, such as a window by the side. But for example, it's ok if you point to the sun; it actually gives you a nice rainbow circle sometimes. Next month a friend will probably bring to me a Nokton Classic 35/1.4 II MC. I'm so curious to see how it renders.

Here the story of Miguel, a super cool kid with a special need. For a fundraising project, I followed him and his mom one morning at the hospital during some therapies. All photos w/ M10 and the TT Artisan 35/1.4 ... I remember I shot at f/2 and f/4 only.

Thank you, Rob; I appreciate it. In the end, every lens has its own character, features, pros, and cons. And it's beautiful like this. I'm still looking for my perfect 35mm FL... I have to try many more, and the ones not released yet 🙂
