Thus it is not a lens-other. If you ask the dealer to code it differently and you get caught you are in legal trouble -and so would the shop be for acceding to an illegal request. You are not allowed to make further posts in this vein as you are using the forum to advocate an illegal action. Well it’s a good thing I ordered today and the shop put the correct code. All good. However Leica Wetlzar will give full factory warranty. That has not been my experience several times since 1990. Leica USA repaired two M6s and an M9 despite the fact that they were purchased, respectively, in Hong Kong and Paris. It was never an issue.____________________Frog Leaping photobook

scott kirkpatrick Posted October 13, 2020 Share #47 Posted October 13, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Besides the question of new US import duties, you should be aware that only the premium courier services are getting packages from country to country in reasonable times. I've used the Israeli Post to USPS route with tracking and various levels of priority recently. Even with the highest priority, Some cameras for consignment required 3 weeks, and some prints in a tube took 6 weeks to be delivered. Stuff sent as standard airmail has disappeared into the void. And the postal service no longer costs much less than FedEx and UPS.
