Hello, I recently purchased a wonderful Leica S2! Everything is going very well so far! The only thing that doesn't work is the acoustic signal when the autofocus is focused! Everything is set to on and loud! Maybe there are still some tricks and settings that I don't know at the moment and have not taken into account! Thanks for your advice!

It is much louder than average linear motor AF lens of the DSLr. But I don’t see that as a proble, since S is not Video centric.

They are talking about the focus confirmation beep, not the sound of the AF motors.

Ich habe heute mit Leica gesprochen! Angeblich gibt es bei AF mit Servolenkung kein akustisches Signal!

Thanks for sharing the update!

Attempt to translate: Leica says that there is no acoustic signal in continuous AF.

That makes sense; otherwise, one would hear incessant beeping while focusing.

P.S.: AFAIK, 'Servolenkung' is for cars, 'AF Servo' is for cameras :) .
