A friend's 356 Porsche Coupe, that he inherited from his father, and which I helped him to restore - the name of the original color is Irish Green.

1957 Corvette with what I believe to be the best motor ever designed & produced in the U .S. - the 283 cu.in. Rochester fuel injection equipped SS ( Super Sport ) engine..... powerful, incredible throttle response, and a word that is quite untranslatable into English, namely 'drehfreudig'. These motors, if properly maintained and intelligently driven would last forever, and modifying, rebuilding and maintaining them was very $$$ reasonable.

Two images of the very first Duesenberg ever made, the 1921 prototype in effect, Ser.# X 1001. The car has been in the same family since it was sold new to the then patriarch of the clan and was shipped to a California friend's restoration facility for a complete but very sympathetic restoration to absolutely original condition.

Image #1 - the intake side of the in-line straight 8 cyl. motor, utilizing only either still serviceable original reconditioned or genuine Duesenberg components. The smoothness and silkiness of the motor running on the dyno after the rebuilt was quite extraordinary.

Image #2 - The finished chassis, running gear and power train, prior to the body ( which was still in the paint booth when I took these images ) being mounted.
