Thus far, I have not seen any photo here which I can see as wabi-sabi as defined in Wikipedia. I did not know anything about this context until I read that. So maybe someone can explain. In the Wikipedia definition and outline of the historical development of this concept I read that it is about culture and art, not about nature. I mostly see photo’s of flowers here and I seldom see something like the elegance of imperfection in how these flowers are presented. 😳 beats me. The collection of images presented could also be called non-sense photography, as a collection I mean, a few individual remarkable images excluded.

I like to discuss things, also contrary, but I find your statement arrogant and know-it-all.
Something like that doesn't help!

To many words...if you need the words it can not be w/s...Your pic just leads to the described meaning, nothing subtle.

Oh! Am I "in" again...? I can not leave... smart aleck🤥

Sure, "Every photo contribution is not a flat image but reflects a sensitivity of selection and  expression of a persons thoughts and feelings when taken." But, these sensitivity, reflections often are, ahem, more simple than subtle...

As much as I welcome the fact that you are back again, I would also like to tell you that I find many of your comments to be opinionated and derogatory.
If you leave the discussion because of my contribution, you assume that I have no idea about Wabi Sabi and that you are not wasting your valuable time on idiots .......

Okay, in terms of content, your statements have definitely brought me further, I would like to tell you that too, so I greet you for being back!

Hello everyone,

it's a shame that so much "discussed"
i would much rather see everyone (including me) try to approach the topic -

Wabi Sabi? the name alone sounds somehow African to me and therefore i cannot associate it with the Far East -  maybe it is "Multi Culti" , we are said in germany

a deep inner feeling in photography is important (i don't want to necessarily say), but it is there and crucial in the moment between seeing and taking the trigger

we are definitely approaching
