newnew Posted August 11, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted August 11, 2020 Sure these were nice times. All around the Mediterannean and the southern european coasts on the Ocean.
Reini Posted August 11, 2020 Share #3 Â Posted August 11, 2020 Fortunately there weren't any tourists back then! I love this country. We were there 3 times in 2001-2003. Up and down and up from Olhao to Porto! There was also very little going on.I still have the smell of fresh sea breeze and fried Sardinjas in my nose! Pecole Posted August 12, 2020 Author Share #6  Posted August 12, 2020 (edited) OK, if you want more pixes, I go back to my 45 year old files. Two first photos were taken along the road, and show how to extract and transport the grain. Photos 3 and 4 depict typical street scenes in villages. Photo 5 illustrates a typical "street" in a village (ses the "pavement"!), and nº 6 a working mill. I devote the seventh photo to the sympathetic face of a local "Zè" or José (half of men share this name in 1970's Portugal), who became a friend within minutes. And I close like this day.
