yattadesign Posted July 25, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted July 25, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Would love input from the community here. I recently purchased a 70's era set of cine-modded Leica Summicrons and have noticed this odd ghosting/reflection effect on the 35mm. Seems to pop up way too frequently indoors. I also get unusual orbs when aimed upwards (overhead lights reflecting, even though not in frame). Note there were no filters attached to the lens. Apologies I don't know the correct terminology here, but would love to know if this is a normal characteristic for this lens? I haven't been able to reproduce it on other lenses in the set (21,24,50,90). Thanks in advance for any input. Â

jaapv Posted July 25, 2020 Share #4  Posted July 25, 2020 No. The forum should accept a simple .mov file otherwise upload to Youtube and link, it embeds automatically. But an image would suffice.  Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
