When I look back I saw my best photos were taken with it...

For me it is the right thing for me...

I am not that kind of person carrying 3 lenses and changing them all the time...

I have never experienced a lens like 28 cron before...

The colors and the rendering is awesome...

Apparently you already answer your own question.

I think two-for-one is excessive and there are other scenarios to consider.

In this situation I would target a v1 cron and try to keep one of the other two, or look to replace the current pair with a v1 and a 50mm at the right price point (summarit, v3 cron and elmar-M seem plausible).

I have the v1 and have never been tempted to pay the considerable premium and move to v2.  For practical purposes there seems to be little difference between them, and what there is isn’t about colors and rendering.

Another possibility is the 28mm elmarit v4 (last pre-ASPH), which I traded toward the v1 cron. This lens is haptically identical to the v1 cron (that is, perfect) with colors and rendering every bit as nice.  I wish I still had that lens (along with the cron).  It gave up one stop to the v1 cron and nothing else.  Some prefer it.

After getting 35cron asph v1 and superelmar 21,  I decided to sell my 28 cron asph v2 and sold it a few months ago at the price I bought it 2 years ago.. But when I look back I saw my best photos were taken with it. Now I am seriously considering to get it back. I spoke with my dealer to trade my sem21 and cron 35 with brand new a demo 28 cron asph v2 with 2 years warranty without giving any money on my lenses. What do you think? Is it the right move? For me it is the right thing for me, because I understood that I am not that kind of person carrying 3 lenses and changing them all the time. Some can say "then go and get Q2" but M is my passion. And I have never experienced a lens like 28 cron before. The colors and the rendering is awesome. Can I learn your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

Kaan, just get it back, it's light weight and also preserved legacy image quality.

+1 - one of my favourite lenses, and mine only cost about £500, though admittedly it is cosmetically rather scruffy 🙂
