Advertisement Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here Paris, gare de l'est. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmr Posted August 12, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 12, 2006 Steve, good shot. The recession and the limited colour palette are engaging, as is the fortunate colour match of the roof and the insulators on the overhead power lines. It seems to tie the shot together nicely. richam Posted August 12, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 12, 2006 Steve, Good eye to pick out this interesting pattern of patterns. The way you have it angled works well. Mike
andybarton Posted August 12, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 12, 2006 I agree with the above comments. The two diagonals, which fade into a horizontal at the top are very well seen.
semrich Posted August 12, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 12, 2006 This almost looks like an agriculture shot, rows of different crops and sprinkler arms. It really is amazing how many different things you can takes pictures of that can look so good. Richard
stuny Posted August 13, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2006 Steve - Very well seen, and I'm glad you left it in color.

stunsworth Posted August 13, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted August 13, 2006 Thanks, when I first went to work in France as a 'permie' I was staying in a hotel just round the corner from here. I have to admit that the very first time I saw the platform roofs I had the idea for this photograph.
