Advertisement Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Hi Rony, Take a look here Leica M9 pictures counter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Tom R Posted July 22, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 22, 2020 I cannot image that resetting the frame counter would be an easy thing to do--otherwise, Leica would open the door to people selling camera bodies with bogus actuations counts, if I understand correctly. Apparently, digital cameras, or at least the digital Leica camera bodies, have shutters that need repair/replacement every so-many thousands or so "actuations." jaapv Posted July 22, 2020 Share #4 Posted July 22, 2020 You can reset the numbering of the images on the card, though. Just take an image, alter the number/letter in the computer and reinsert the SD card with the altered number. The camera will start counting at the new number. Keeping in mind the shutter actuations and image capture count are two whole different things.

Ko.Fe. Posted July 23, 2020 Share #7 Posted July 23, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Camera only stores number of shutter actuations. It is different how pictures are counted, numbered on the memory card by the same camera.
