Having many horses over the years, one by one they have passed away. A month ago I was down to 2 horses when one (36 years old) had to be put down due to poor health. That left me with one old (29 years old) gray half Arabian. He had always been part of a herd so being a lone horse did not work. Worried about his well-being there was only one thing to do, by my horse a horse. Yes, I'm an old softy. The buckskin in the picture is also 29 years old. They are doing just fine together. I'm doing better myself. 🙂

That was mighty nice of you to get your horse friend - a friend.

My old horse was not acting well. It becomes an endless cycle I'm afraid. I guess as long as I'm around my animals will always have a friend.
