Advertisement Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Hi rollsman4, Take a look here Want to use a Master flash controller on Leica D2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted June 28, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2020 When I bought my D2 at launch, I frequently used it for workshop photography, mostly using ambient light. Sometimes I needed portable studio flash, mains powered, using a flashmeter to determine exposure, I made them slaves to a simple Leica flash gun mounted on the hotshoe. I used flash to augment ambient light. It worked well. If you do not have a flash meter, trial and error should establish base settings.
stuny Posted June 28, 2020 Share #3 Posted June 28, 2020 At shows I've placed wireless flash triggers being used on the usual cameras (Nikon, Canon,Sony), set the aperture, shutter speed and ISO as directed) and shot just fine on my Q. I don't know what flash triggers they were. Welcome, dear visitor!
