Thanks Louis. As time passes my approach to photography changes. Learning is the best medicine against aging !

Thanks Mikozia. I get more comfortable with street photograph with the SEM. It is so discreet and you can even shoot from the hip with some practice.

Lovely set of photos! It's hard to believe that for post #3 and #4, you used a 21 SEM. It easily could be a 24 or even a 28 ... I never tried a 21 Leica. But if you used well the perspective, with a little distortion it has, It could be a fascinating FL. So far my widest lens is a 35, and I would love to add soon a 24, possible the Elmar. I don't like the 28 FL, so from 35 I would skip directly to a 24. But when I see a 21mm well used, it makes me think again: 21 or 24? 🤔

Thanks for sharing

Hi Dennis. When I see your pictures of weddings I am sure you will be very comfortable with a wider angle. Shots 1,2& 5 were framed, while shots 3&4 were shot from the hip for sake of discretion. But then I needed to straighten the horizon in PP as I do not consistently have the camera horizontal when shooting from the hip, and especially when walking. Shot 4 required a small straightening so it is nearly as the original while shot 3 required more loss on the sides. I post here another shot (framed no loss with the 21 SEM). As you say, due to extreme low distorsion , the impression is rather cinematographic than wide angle. I have 21 SEM and I also have 24 Elmarit which is an excellent lens. I made some of my shots of Japan (see here the colour ones)

I am in the process of acquiring a 24 Lux mostly for street shots. I did not go as wide as 21 Lux as I find 24 is a good compromise.  I will probably separate from my 35 FLE. Probably SEM will stay and I need to see if I find really separate uses for the Elmarit 24 and Summilux 24.
