ldhrads Posted May 15, 2020 Share #1  Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a bellows II, I can mount it to my M10-P without the visoflex using the novoflex extension tubes, this works well and replaces the visoflex when using live view. I have the 65 Elmar in it's focusing mount. I can't seem to mount that to the bellows. I was able to mount all of my M- lenses, but the release button on the mount for M lenses (16596) on the bellows seems to block the mounting of the 65 Elmar. Do I need a 16558 and then use the lens head only? Is the OTZFO only for mounting directly to the Visoflex itself?  Thanks  Lawrence Edited May 15, 2020 by ldhrads

Guest JMF Posted May 15, 2020 Share #2  Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) Just tried mounting the 65 Elmar with the black OTZFO directly on the Leica M to L adapter on a SL. It will not mount as the red dot sticking out of the OTZFO mount is in the way of the release M mount button of the adapter . I have another silver OTZFO which engages though. The 65 Elmar  will not focus this way  , I was just trying to mount the OTZFO.  Edited May 15, 2020 by JMF

For the focusing helical 16464/OTZFO   assembly  -  I have modified the adapter 16596 ring a little bit. My modification works only with the  silver version of 16464/OTZFO! ldhrads Posted May 15, 2020 Author Share #5  Posted May 15, 2020 Ahh Thorsten, I see what you did there, that's exactly the problem. I'll dig around and see if I have a 16558 or just order one from someone on the Bay.  Thanks! 44 minutes ago, Dao De Leitz said: .  Welcome, dear visitor! luigi bertolotti Posted May 15, 2020 Share #6  Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) Indeed, the focusing mount of Elmar 65 was made for mounting it directly on the Viso II/III (no bellows), a configuration which allows infinity focusing with the 65 : you can try it on M10 (and the Novoflex ring, of course, and EVF) : it results in a not so bad general purpose lens...  a someway odd focal with a wide focus throw...😎 Edited May 15, 2020 by luigi bertolotti 1
