semrich Posted August 11, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 11, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am working on a series about street markets. Everybody here says they love going to the street markets, they are very colorful and full of activity. However I am not sure if they really see beyond that aspect of whats involved in having a neighorhood street market on the same day once a week every week. I have started taking photos of all of the elements of a street market on an island with hills and no trucks or cars allowed. Here is a recent one. Thanks for looking Richard

stuny Posted August 11, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2006 richard - One of the advantages of living in Istanbul is that you can see these wonderful slice-of-life instances every day. Very nicely caught. I'll have to look again at this from home -- On this inferior monitor it appears a bit dark, but based on your other work it's probably fine on a good monitor.
