Thank you Stuart. Yes . It is really worth spending slow time, sit in a few coffee houses and stroll. A last one...with Elmarit 24

Lovely. Our favorite accommodation of the entire trip was at Ryokan:  Asadaya, where the two young women who too care of us were so superb we wanted to take them home.

You probably should have. We had a very pleasant experience with all people there. This total city is a secret well guarded. Given the current situation I do not know if we will have any opportunity to return one day.

Ali, I keep coming back to this wonderful set. It reminds me so much of a village we used to visit when I was in a training camp at Kodokan Judo. But it was long time ago!....

A wonderful country with great people (in general) and an admirable couture that I really loved. I have to return and see more of this superb place that I did not have time to see enough during my stay.

Louis , I agree with all you said. For me it would be a dream to be there in winter time with snow and just the Summilux 75 in the quiet gardens and streets. One more from Kanazawa.

Thank you AndreasG. I am really happy if my pictures could give you a sense of the the Japan you have known for such a longtime. I had put an album in B&W in this forum's Gallery section about my impressions on Japan. You may also find it interesting.

Best regards

Ali
