Visoflex I with Bellows II?

Hello,

Is there a reasonable way (designed or not by Mama Leitz) to use the Bellows II on a Visoflex I?

I find the Viso I to be much better (at least than my (dirty, hazy) Viso III) for closeup work, due to the better finders overall (especially the 45 degree one), but the Bellows II is better than the Bellows II thanks to the separate settings for ratio and focus.

Not difficult to design & build... maybe someone like Novoflex could have done it : imagine a ring like the OUFRO but with a LTM male . Of course, you must firstly screw it onto the Viso I and THEN mount on the Bellows II, otherwise you cannot rotate the Viso because it would interfere with the Bellows II rail : don't know if Leitz made something like.

(Edit : it WAS made : Wlaidlaw has one ... 😉 , and JC Braconi showed the Leitz original BEOON/16511 - see post 15

Hi Luigi, 

I have two of them. One is a Novoflex part Lei-M and the other is part of the BEOON kit. I will take a photo of the pair side by side tomorrow. Now that I have had a big clear up over the week-end, I know where nearly everything is. The only disappointment is that I did not find the 1924 date stamped leather case for my FODUA rangefinder. I am going to have to look through my box of leather camera cases, which I never use, as for the most part, I really dislike Ever Ready Cases. The FODUA case may be inside a camera case.

In the bEOON it is the adapter "A".

Here are the two M bayonet to LTM screw adapters. I wondered if they might prove to be identical but they aren't as can be seen. The Leica BEOON A adapter is 8.50mm flange to flange, whereas the Novoflex LEI-M is 9.00mm.
