Bentley Speed 6 and Mercedes Benz SSK. This display was to commemorate races in Dublin which my father attended between 1929 and 1931. He would have seen Birkin and Caracciola racing at that time. There was something of a scandal in 1930 when Caracciola's wife dressed as a man in order to gain entry to the pits.

Brought wonderful memory of mother-in-law who found her Isetta in her classroom, placed there by her mischievous students. :0)  Cheers.

(599 GTB) ...but where else would it be other than “sitting there”?

I realised moving from London that in NYC one very rarely sees any interesting cars as they sit hidden away in parking garages rather than on the street. With no garages available, in our little square in London alone (admittedly in the centre) there is a Porsche GT3 RS, Ferrari FF + 599, several Bentleys and in the mews behind a rather fetching DB6 in Aston Green...and most people living here don’t even own a car...

That lovely little a/c -- Is it home built?

Stuart, it is. Steve, the builder/owner is strapping himself into the rear seat, parachutes included. It took him several years to complete in his garage...the airframe is all carbon fiber composite with a Lycoming 235hp power plant and is classified as an unlimited aerobatic aircraft. He, along with other friends with similar aircraft, perform in airshows around the area as well as at Oshkosh. The highlight of the flight were hammerheads!
