I have a 35 and was thinking that my next lens should be a SEM 21, but part of me feels that is too wide / a specialty lens. Better corner sharpness, a preferred compression and less distortion (my 21 SEM has more field curvature than the 24 Elmar). Why Leica ever discontinued this gem is beyond me. Attached image is with the 24 Elmar on the M10 Monochrom with Leica green color contrast filter. Exposure was 24 seconds at f/8.0 and captured in White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire.
