hector_jorge Posted February 14, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I tried several times to download the new firmware for the CL (Vers. 3.2) but every time appear a sign that saids "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open the file". The instalation instructions where downloaded without any problem. What can I do? Many thanks in advance for help. "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open 'CL___32_.lfu' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." Advertisement Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Hi hector_jorge, Take a look here It is impossible to download the firware version 3.2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
AeroMirage Posted February 14, 2020 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2020 Don't try to open it. Just copy it to the root directory of your SD card. The camera can open it.
ramarren Posted February 14, 2020 Share #3 Posted February 14, 2020 The problem is that your system seems to think that the file is a PDF file of some sort and can't open it. HOWEVER, it has to have downloaded the file and put it somewhere before it tries to open it with the Reader app ... so find out where it is putting the file, and try to figure out how to tell your system NOT to try to open it but just to leave it sit there. lct Posted February 14, 2020 Share #4 Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) If you have a Mac, the "CL___32_.lfu" file should sit in the "Downloads" folder of your computer (Option+Command+L from the Finder). If you find the file there, do not try to open it, as suggested abova, just copy it to your SD card. Edited February 14, 2020 by lct
jaapv Posted February 14, 2020 Share #5 Posted February 14, 2020 It should be in the downloads folder. This could be a browser problem. Does it occur when you use another browser? Or do you click "open" in the download notification?
