Hi Digital~Nomad,

The writing doesn't look soft to me, but the face of those headstones does seem to be very dark which I think is more of a problem to reading it. My suggestion - maybe some selective adjustments there to lighten those headstones?

I wish, I could post more images here on LUF, but forum rules make it difficult for me, so here is a link to Yesterdays blog post from the 2012 edition of the 24h of Le Mans:

2012 Le Mans 24h - first track shots

More shots to come - most shots done with the M8.2 and this year with a Canon 100 f2 LTM.

Very nice shots there menos, awesome! Very nice panning...

I used to shoot motorsport before I switched to rangefinder, I want to do some of that again but with my M8. Can I ask did you use ND filters? Do you carry a bunch of them with you, or do you find that one filter in particular covers most situations? (Not sure if you're also on the RFF forums, but I ask this question of anyone that I see doing motorsport with a rangefinder!)

chounws - I really like the IR look, very interesting. Another thing I have to get around to one day, get myself an IR filter...

dotfoto - I really like that last photo of the smoking man and the reflections.

I've recently been trying some Sports Photography with my beloved M8. It is definitely harder than with an slr, but I derive a lot more satisfaction from the shots because It's all me doing the focusing and the timing required to get a good shot is entirely on me without the 5-6-or-7 fps to machine gun the pitch or a swing of the bat.

This image was taken with my New 1956 Nikkor Q 13.5cm LTM long lens.

This is my first image post to a forum in years. Hope I do this right.
