How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

After long time without Leica M, I bought a M8 again..... I miss a lot.... :) a shot from yesterday.

That is a really nice capture Ricardsonwilliams. I especially like people-scapes where subject attention is scattered and here you have one in the center facing you straight on.

 

I never sold my M but just came back to it as well and as before gravitate to my 28s. I find the time away and using smaller cameras was good because there is a big difference in shooting with M bodies just in the way we compose and interact with subject.

Dear L Camera members,

 

After enjoying so many wonderful and inspiring photos here, I take courage to post a couple of photos taken by M8. Thank you all for sharing great works here.... Still a long way for me to learn to see the world through new set of eyes (M8)... but appreciating every step ... Any comments or suggestions on the photos would be greatly appreciated....

Silvester, I am guessing you cropped this photo. In any case even though only one face is pictured, aside from carrying similar accordions, it feels like they also have the same expression. It is a nice picture!

Thank you! I really like the rangefinder way to shoot street, I had D3s with a lot of lenses but it's to big/heavy. I'm plan to add Zeiss 50mm f/1.5

I was really honored when LFI contacted me to use an image for this months issue a couple months ago. Up until I got the issue in the mail I was not sure if they were going to use the picture or if it was one of many they would consider. Upon opening the magazine and seeing the image I sent representing the 75mm Summarit I smiled from ear to ear. LFI is by far and away my favorite publication so to have it be the place of my first published work.. words can not express my gratitude. They changed the wording of my entry quite a bit so that is definitely not the way I would choose to describe the lens but who cares;)

 

These are scans so the image loses a lot of the quality but you get the idea.

 

Love the image...nice gallery as well. Lots of great photos. Is that your girlfriend in most of them? compliments. I can see how she is your muse.
