Love that shot Brandon (not because of the funny face, but because of the great composition with the background lines, the punk's hairstyle and the wide-angle + perspective doing it's thing) + great B&W conversion!

thank you! that shot, like most of my work is 99% luck. It's great seeing your work on Flickr.

Once again, can I ask that people stick to the Forum rules with regards to dimensions of photographs posted and file size.

This _includes_ photos linked through from Flickr.

960 max pixels in longest side

300kb unless you are a Sponsoring Member, in which case it's 600kb

Thank you

Great shots, guys! There's a lot of talent here. I've been an M8 owner for about a week now, and I haven't hardly put the thing down!

I figured I'd share a couple of mine here too. These were taken with the 35/2.8.

I agree with Nomad's sentiments.

IMO

a) Leica M8/8.2 are fine, fine cameras

B) The M9 is a wonderful camera

But

c) If going for the wonderful M9 makes you lens poor, going with the fine M8 with better or more lenses is a pretty sound decision both econically and photographically.

Camera and Lens choice is always a personal choice imho, so don't take anyone's gospel in the matter but your own :-)

This is wonderful thread, thank all for sharing great pictures. I'm going to buy an M9 but now looking at the M8.2 and save $ for more lenses.
