Very cool aquarium shot.

thank you . it looks a little better on my computer before i export it for the web. the silver fish kind of pop a bit more and look like they are floating in mid air, and the little geribaldi (the gold fish) on the bottom left really pops out.

i export using aperture, oh well.

Here's a shot from today, a Buddhist monk, also posted in the people section. When he saw the red Leica dot on my M8 he gave me a thumbs-up.

Not impressed by glasses and cigarette, which is a lot more mixed up in China mainland, but man - these guys do look fit!

Remember the ordinary police officer back in Germany not exactly having ideal weight and top shape.

A ha, yes- I remember well some of the more portly German police in Berlin... they looked quite comical especially in the little 'bongo' vans they had- only they often carried sub-machineguns... I remember the German uniform was not very threatening- a bit slouchy- Thai uniforms are precision cut, see how all three of those guys have strings of medals?... the uniform match the athletic builds of the wearers. You don't ever want to mess with them as far as I can tell... Which makes the red shirts determination even harder to understand. I

Personally I feel sorry for both sides. I am glad there wasn't much happening while I was there but the tension was building.

check it out-accesorising: gold rings, aviators, and lucky charms:
