How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

some ,if not all ,of the shots on this thread are superb..well done everyone

 

ive got an m6, i love it with all my heart, im selling up all my nikon and i know if the person behind the camera and not the camera itself that takes the wonderful shots, but after hearing what seemed like only bad things about the m8, this thread would make me look on ebay and price one tbh

 

If you love your M6, you will love the M8. I speak from experience.

Thanks,

I just started using it with the M8.2, after trying out several different 50s for portraits. I've been very happy with it so far. I've considered the 50 lux asph, but as I really only use this lens for portraits, I'm not exactly eager to spend another $2k+ for an extra stop I would rarely use.

Thanks Wilfredo. Although most of the other pictures posted here put mine to shame, I'm very happy with my M8 and my Summarit 35. It's a very versatile combination. :)
