I assume that everyone has updated their firmware to 2.12.8.0, right? Yes, I’m on the newest firmware. I think I’ll try one if the cards reported here as working ok next - maybe keep to UHS-I this time. It’s too bad because I like the rapid importing to my computer that comes with UHS-II even if the camera can’t use its full speed.

I am using UHS-II cards on my M10M without any issues (Sony 32Gb TOUGH G and Lexar 2000x 128Gb). I wonder if it is an issue with specific cards or specific cameras. Anyway, Leica should be able to fix that in firmware ... if they can reproduce it. I will try to get a 128Gb TOUGH G card and see if it exhibits the same bug on my camera. Writing and reading will sporadically and frequently take much longer than usual. It's stochastic, so you need to use the camera for at least a dozen shots or so, power cycling, shooting, and reviewing images, before you can be sure to see the bug, but it's also very clear when the bug is present. I've tried three Sony TOUGH 128 GB cards now and all three show the bug. Those were my favorite SD cards so hopefully Leica issues a firmware update that can fix the issue, assuming it is software rather than physical fit incompatibilities (the Sony TOUGH cards can fit a bit tighter than most cards into SD card slots). [Mods, please feel free to merge this thread with the other one, and retitle it "M10 Monochrom SD card issues" or the like. Thank you!] If you have not done this, and had time, I would be curious if you used a program like SDFormatter to format the Tough 128 GB cards looking for bad memory in the process and flagging it. I.e., is there any bad memory in the early part of the SD card such that it errors out. Simple formatting rewrites the file table, but does not check the actual memory. So, it takes awhile to process, but might be an interesting test. I know I have some Sony Tough cards at home, but I'll have to check and see which ones. I'll try the same as I've only used the SanDisk in the M10M so far....
