How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

I was in such a rut today, mind on other things and questioning why I was even bothering with taking the camera with me on a walk back from what was, essentially, a shopping trip. Enjoyed it nonetheless. Maybe the photos will grow on me in time. Photos often need a while to 'sit' and be forgotten, so I can see them with a fresh eye.

That is very true - the same with me! This is why I transfer and edit photos with delay. Right now I'm in the "waiting" period and I don't know, how long will take. But because I'm now used to it, I don't bother at all! 😊

I think I'd be tempted to rack up the vignetting and see what that did. There's a lot going on and the central point is the narrowness of the building and how it draws the eye. More vignetting may echo that. Or it may look rubbish and then I'd undo it;-) Hahaha.
