How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

My son's 'battle hands'. He does this all the time but I've never managed to catch it on camera in a way that shows the movement of his hands as he plays. There will be a day (probably soon) when he does this for the last time ...and I'll miss it. They grow up fast.

M10M with I *think* 24mm Summilux (I had lens detection off). 1/8sec, F.5.6, ISO800.

Nice capture of the sense of place -- the tones and composition communicate a peaceful, serene emotion to me about Alsace.  The Leica look is distinguished.

The mood was exactly how you describe it last Saturday as I shot this picture. A calm and serene winterday with the smooth light of the end of the day.
