Not overly motivated to get out for pictures too much at the moment, partly due to the weather - it's too hot and humid to move in the mad metropolis of Tokyo - and also the feeling that I'm creatively in a rut. I need a change of scenery (as so many of us do, in the current pandemic). Will try to snap out of it by focusing on the ordinary. Nothing is more ordinary <yawn> than mooching about down by the Sumida River. Note to self: must do better.

M10M + 28mm Elmarit-M ASPH. Slight extra grain added in LR.

I agree that Pandemic effects our mood and creativity -- we feel constricted but good photographers, as Ruth Bernhard remarked,  can make interesting photos of anything (i.e. Besides classically lite nudes she photographed a smashed tin tea pot run over by a truck -- it is a classic). Edward Weston made iconic photos of Peppers. In your photo I like the gentle curve of the steps/retaining wall along the straight path. I think that might be the photo composition rather than the vast river and skyline. Just a thought keep making photos!! CHIPS
